The Cellar Door is a modern restaurant, function centre and wine tasting venue located in Alexandra, Central Otago, New Zealand. Restaurant - internationally experienced chefs, wine bar area, we are open for lunch, evening dining, coffee and cake. Functions - board room, conference room. Weddings - Wedding planner, personally themed, function room, adjoining conservatory, bar, dance area, private courtyard and a separate buffet room.

Wine

The Cellar Door specializes in providing a variety of Central Otago wines produced in the Alexandra Basin.  We run monthly wine specials designed to promote local vineyards and enable our customers to sample the best our region has to offer.

Our house wine includes a selection of international award winning varieties from the Saint Clair estate in Marlborough.  Saint Clair’s vineyard has received in excess of 150 gold medals and is now recognized as one of NZ’s most successful privately owned vineyards.  Saint Clair has close family connections with the Alexandra district.
