The Cellar Door is a modern restaurant, function centre and wine tasting venue located in Alexandra, Central Otago, New Zealand. Restaurant - internationally experienced chefs, wine bar area, we are open for lunch, evening dining, coffee and cake. Functions - board room, conference room. Weddings - Wedding planner, personally themed, function room, adjoining conservatory, bar, dance area, private courtyard and a separate buffet room.

The Cellar Door has three private function rooms for hire;
The BOARDROOM is located on the top floor of the building and looks out onto Alexandra’s old man mountain range, it comfortably seats up to 20 people (depending on set up requirements).

The CONSERVATORY ROOM can open up onto our courtyard and/or our large function room and has a private bar available upon arrangement.  It sits approximately 40 people comfortably (depending on set up requirements).

The FUNCTION ROOM has a separate buffet room and bar facilities; ideal for weddings, large corporate functions or any other special event.  It seats approximately 150 people theatre style and just over 100 in a formal seating.  The function and conservatory rooms combined provide a suitable environment for formal and casual seating alike and the perfect space for expos, trade shows and even funerals.
